Charlie has been an avid gamer since the first time he sat in front of a computer. He took that gamer passion and with the help of some friends created a homebrew pencil and paper RPG called Crystals of Pryann. His drive to take game creation/development to the next level you attended Full Sail University and earned his Bachelors of Science in Game Development. After graduation he became a programmer for an Atlanta-based mobile game company. Unfortunately his time there didn’t last long and he found himself looking from the outside in on the industry that he loves. So he created Altered Confusion. It started as a blog in 2007 where he shared his opinion on the games that he was playing, and then grew from there.

In 2009 he started recording the Altered Confusion Podcast, which has since been renamed the Altered Confusion Thursday Night Hangout.

Starting in 2013 he began appearing as a panelist at conventions. The conventions he’s presented at are:

Seeing the platform that he had built Charlie made the move to create an initiative that focuses more on Independent Creators. Whenever possible Charlie grabs his mic and camera and interviews those amazing, creative, and brilliant creators. His mission is to give the deserving people a spotlight to help others see what they have created.
